About
After unhappily working in corporate America for more than 25 years, I finally made the exhilarating and terrifying move to full time freelance writing and editing.
I received a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing from the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana in 1995. I have written numerous articles which have been published in local and regional newspapers and magazines. I’ve covered a virtual plethora of subjects including local government and politics, general business news, transportation, environmental issues and even entertainment. I also wrote a column for a small newspaper that focused primarily on adventure and travel.
In addition to writing for media outlets, I have also worked as a technical writer, web content writer and editor for the communications, human resource and telecommunications industries.
I also write fiction and am working in the short story and novella formats. I primarily write in the paranormal, science fiction, historical and romance genres.
Outside of writing, I spend my time reading, riding my Malagutti scooter, walking or fly fishing. Of course, that’s only if my two dogs or my cat lets me out the door.
